[StartQuote] David thanks for the information. I have retired since I last built the 1/72 Revell PT-109. I am now living in Fl and enjoying life. But I do have to watch myself due to the evil "fixed income". This new project so far cost me $7.50 on evil bay. A lot of the aftermarket is nice but I don't want to spent $200 on aftermarket parts for a $10 kit. Also I do a lot of scratch building. I had 3 years of drafting in high school and had my own drafting equipment back in the day. I spent 42 years as a fabricator in various machine and welding shops. So I am looking at some after market stuff but things like depth charge racks, depth charges, and other basic shape parts I can do with Evergreen card and tube. I definitely do want to look into the ends for the torpedo tubes. I am still tossing around the idea of putting the mast on but in the lowered position, but then again all the photos but one, and that was in Panama, show no mast. Thanks again for the help and I definitely will post my progress.---John [EndQuote]
