[StartQuote] Hi Greg, We installed our black lights on the bridge of the PT658 so that they could shine on the Compass Binnacle and the Tachometer and Manifold Pressure Guages. The Black Light has a special resistor located behind the square panel on the Navigation Light Control Panel, it lowers the voltage to something less than 24 volts, I cant remember what the exact amount was. The light for the compass has a red filter plate inside the housing. I mounted them using our builders photographs and blueprints as a guideline, and I am pretty sure they are in the correct authentic positions. We dont have the proper binnacle for our magnetic compass, but I am working on that. You can see the two "Black" lights in the photograph below. I hope this helps! PS Today we were able to run PT658 up to 33.5 Knots and it got up on the step! Jerry [image]http://www.savetheptboatinc.com/PTreunion0706_09.jpg[/image] Jerry Gilmartin[EndQuote]
