[StartQuote] Jeff, When I helped my Dad scrape and paint the bottoms of our work boats when we hauled them out of the water back in the '60's and 70's, I'm pretty sure the red bottom paint we used was spelled "Copperoyd," due (so Dad said), to the copper content in the paint, which was supposed to retard the marine growth on the hull.
