[StartQuote] Boy I got to say....I worked on the 305 boat nearly 2 years getting it ready to go to the group in Texas before she came to you all in New Orleans. We had grandiose ideas of driving her down the inter coastal waterway a few test runs were done but the decision to drive her down on a truck was best. She just looks fantastic and nothing less than a stellar job is being done on her. You have the volunteers and financial support of one of the greatest museums dedicated to WWII. Through my efforts I have been given a life long charter membership of the museum. It was a pleasure and an honor to save this boat. She was headed into harms way the Texas group had not taken her over. God Bless you all God Bless the 305 boat. Beautiful work!!!! Jim Melanson Tell Jerry Strahan I said hello please! jim[EndQuote]
