[StartQuote] I had to give it the old College try Stu. I would love to see that same weathering process on one of the green PT BOATS, to see how it would look. Many boats including the ones done for me, are all wonderful, but lack the weathering that makes the boats look like that "In the Field look". My dear friend, Alex Johnson was the only model builder that did weathering on one of the boats he made for me. PT-374 had that in the Pacific look to it, when Alex got finished with it. I think many of the model guys are not to sure what to do when it comes to weathering, as that in itself is an art. Bob Butler, who is doing PT-302 for me, will be weathering the boat , so I look forward to see how he does this. Sometimes it can make or break a project. Another good friend of mine has been working on 19 figures for a project Stan Piekowski will be working on for my Exhibit. It is really something to see how he paints these 1/35 figures. May of them have no shirts on with shorts, and to see how he makes them look like they have been out in the Pacific for a time is really something, I mean he paints in sweat marks on the uniforms, and makes the eyes look so real. I am always blown away when I see the work you model guys perform. [EndQuote]
