[StartQuote] Earl and I were talking about the bounty that was put on Japanese heads or ears during the war. I know that I was told this story and saw pictures of a Japanese mans head when I was at the museum in German Town. Earl said he had heard the story also.but neither of us felt that it was confirmed to be true or not.. I suggested we might throw it out there for the board, maybe someone might be able to confirm the rumors to be true or false. Would it be true that the bounty was put to an abrupt end because some natives had tried to pass off either American or Australian as Japanese by dyeing the heads for the bounty money?
