[StartQuote] By the way, all this information that I recently posted on your forum is from a log that I photographed info from in my dad's condo the day he was buried. Since I am the only one that served my country in my family, my siblings thought it would be best that I got his uniform. I also have the flag that was draped over his casket when taps was played, mounted in a flag case sitting on my mantel in my living room. Oh, by the way, my dad have numerous Elco PT Magazines in a metal cabinet that was in our basement when we were kids. It had glossy pages of various PT Boats skimming over the water. I was proud of my dad as most sons and daughters could have been for serving their country, OR even as I did. My adult children are proud of me too. Thanks again for all that you can "dig up". Respectfully, Paul Vollmer Retired U.S. Air Force [EndQuote]
