As I put things in order for the scrap book to go to the photo book company, I still have a problem with this placement. I am hoping the photo below turns out. I scanned his mug shot and the Farragut photo side by side. He looks so young and innocent in the Farragut photo. Not so much in the mug shot. Longer hair, looks older and not so innocent. Could have been the moment it was taken. Just double checking with you guy's before I put it in the beggining of the book. He was sent to Melville after he was in the South Pacific.
