[StartQuote] Well said Peter I prefer 1/24th myself nothing like drawing up the plans and building with timber, and for those that like the fact that the boats were built of Mahogany a little bit of chaseing down some materials will create a great hull from this timber. As they say bigger is better and in the modeling world the P.T. Boats offer a great scope in the large scale, just take the italeri 1/35th model they could have made it in a smaller scale, but look at the detail and think what can be done to it ! This is the way to go, now for a 77' Elco and a 78' Higgins and the group will be about as complete as we will see from the model companies so the rest is up to us the modeler ! D.buck[EndQuote]
