[StartQuote] I have recieved a E-Mails from a few of you on the message board, so I thought I would clear a few things up. First of all, I do not have to explain myself as to why I am selling a piece of History and not donating it to PT BOATS INC. I have been a member here for almost 20 years and have a nice relationship with Alyce Guthrie, and if you must know I recently donated an original Elco Griddle for the boat, and extra photo's and a scrap book of Lt. Cmdr. Montgomery. Second of all, as I have two Manuals that are the same, I do not feel bad about getting rid of one. Third, if you must know, I am raising funds to complete my deal of the Lt. Alan Montgomery collection. I am so angry over the fact that some of you are even questioning me. My life has been devoted to PT BOATS and the work I have done and continue to do speaks for itself. Charlie was kind enough to post the sale here, just in case you, my friends might be interested in owning a wonderful piece of History. I never thought by doing so, I would be told what a bad person I was for trying to sell the Manual. For those of you that are my friends, your support and friendship means a great deal to me. For those of you that felt you needed to stick your nose in my business I wish I could meet you in person, so that I could give you a real piece of my mind. These are just some of the reasons why people are leaving this message board. I am sorry guys but I had to vent today and explain my actions. Thanks for listening........... [EndQuote]
