[StartQuote] been there, done that.i will not take sides.just want to voice my thoughts.there are only a few of us left now.this board exists because we that are left can post our memories and pt boat info on it.the friends and modelers on this board depend on our input.we boaters relive what we did during the war by communicating with each other.this board is the only way we can do it. we need ALL of the pt boat vets to give their input.we may have differences, but, hey, we also had them when we were aboard ship.since we lived together and fought together we resolved our differences.we had N O CHOICE.we had to in order to do our jobs.we were family.then.WE STILLL ARE. RUSS/PAT, we value your input and,.regardless of any differences, we NEED YOU two guys.i don,t usually respond to any problems but this is important to me.if i am out of live, THEN CHEW ME OUT.ON HERE OR ANY WAY AVAILABLE.you are my friends and shipmates and i ask that you both continue to give us your valued information of your service.as i said, WE NEED YOU BOTH. i don,t want to lose what few shipmates i have left./sorry if i stepped out of line.may you both enjoy the holidays and stay with us.you guys are family to me. hopefully, your friend and shipmate, earl p/s looking forward to the christmas card earl richmond[EndQuote]
