[StartQuote] I have several Flags in my PT BOAT EXHIBIT and you can display them in several ways. The Flag opened all the way, are pretty large, and you can display it in a shadow type box, which I picked up at my local Michaels Craft Store. They are wooden, have a black background which you can pin to it and it will hold he Flag. You can also take the Flag to your local Frame Shop and they can do it as well. Be prepared to spend a few bucks using this option, but they will use a special backing to protect the Flag, and it will look great. I think I spent $80.00 for a shadow box for my Flag and my wife pinned it in ( it looks fine ) I also have another battle Flag folded and showing the tattered end in a Ryker Box ( black display boxes in different sizes ) These boxes you can buy on EBAY. I did it that way because I just did not have the extra money t have it framed. I got a price of $280.00 to have it done. I have an Elco E Flag that was done by my good friend who is a carpenter. He made the case for the Flag very simular to the shadow box, attached it to a black backing and used a real nice plexi-glass to finish off the front. Good luck, you should have no problem finding a method that fits your budget......... [EndQuote]
